Climate Brewology was started in 2018 with an aim to increase awareness to climate change through the perspective of beer brewing as our team is passionate about playing a role in helping society transition toward low carbon economies and climate resilient societies.
We wants to increase the awareness around how the increasing frequency and severity of natural disaster events and weather volatility impact our society in different ways through the perspective of everything around brewing beer. Our aim is to improve the understanding of climate change to beer enthusiast by making unique connections between these passions our team at Climate Brewology has.
As climate change is pressuring businesses and individuals in our society to be more aware of sustainable practices to limit global temperature rises to below 2 degrees, so that we can limit the impact natural disasters and extreme weather volatility have on our lives.
The Craft of Sustainable Brewing” therefore emerged out of Climate Brewology which increases the focus of breweries, and other affiliated individuals in the beer industry, to practice, share, and innovate around sustainable brewing practices and their impact on the global carbon footprint.
Climate Brewology aim to help highlight the importance of sustainable brewing, and hope it creates a culture of more climate-conscious beer consumers who even while enjoying the beer, can understand what they can do for the planet, after all, without the natural elements that we brew our beer with, we wont be able to enjoy our favourite beverage.
